needed a lawyer

I have used a lawyer in the past to stop an unjust case. It was a divorce in which I was considered mentally incompetent, due to a brain injury. I had signed paper work without legal representation or any understanding to what I was doing. Later, I regretted giving full custody and explained the matter to a legal adviser who helped me find a suitable attorney who had the whole case dismissed and done properly.

Review

Review of Health Web Site

As I am sure this pertains to many of you, I think you will find this link extremely valuable, though unlike many of my other “self-conscious” posts might be of use, I know several of you will really appreciate this. Here is a link to the site itself natural health forum.

Here starts my review: the site is extremely intuitive and has many browsable discussions about health related issues that are of interest to all, as they are far reaching in scope. It also has a link to search posts if you have a particular keyword in mind. This is copied directly from the byline “NatMedTalk is a forum for all those interested in all aspects of health and illness, there are lots of natural and alternative ways of dealing with health problems.” and just so that I am not just shouting praises, I did find one troubling aspect of this site, you must join the forum in order to post. I agree this is petty, but if you do not like to fill out forms or give contact information but want to talk to someone with similar concerns in hope of finding natural success it is a teensy bit intimidating.

I truly wish

I really wish there were more posts on this particular blog, sorry.

homeschooling

I recently have reconsidered home schooling for my own children. They say that no publicty is bad publicity, even though CA proved to have problems that were announced to the world regarding home schooling, it put the idea into the forefront of my mind again. There must be a serious reason these parents chose to home school their children.

About.com had an interesting article on the subject of things that ought to be considered broken down into these ten areas: 1)Time commitment 2)Personal sacrifice 3) Financial strain 4) Socialization 5) Household organization 6) Both parents in agreement 7) Is your child willing? 8) One year at a time 9) Intimidated by the teaching? and 10) Why others began.

Speed reading

I have been skeptical of this but slowly (ironically) I begin to believe that through the use of "chuncking" or "subvocalization" people can read with incredible speeds while retainng comprehension. one can only imagine the practical uses of such a skill, not limited to side-show freak in the circus. but if I can read faster than others it stands to reason, hat by various means othrers could read faster yet. Someone once told me that no matter how good ou are there is always someone better, this makes sense and validates the possibility of speed reading.
